ASM Structural Materials Data Demonstration Project


This cooperative project, co-led by the NIST Materials Measurement Laboratory and ASM International, aims to create an open demonstration data repository for metallic structural materials that can be utilized by the materials community and to accelerate progress toward the digital data goals of the Materials Genome Initiative. Also participating in the project is Granta Design, Nexight Group and Kent State University.

Access to this Repository and its resources is limited to the SMDDP Developers Group and Pilot Group.
