iPython

Abstract

IPython is a notebook-based interface to interactive computing, including powerful shells, a browser-based notebook interface with support for code, rich text, mathematical expressions, inline plots, and other rich media, support for interactive data visualization, flexible, embeddable interpreters, and easy-to-use, high-performance tools for parallel computing. Focused on Python, the architecture is designed to be language-agnostic, to facilitate interactive computing in any language.
