Synchrotron Diffraction and Composition Data Sets of Co-Fe-Zr Metallic Glasses

Abstract

The dataset summarizes a series of high-throughput studies on the Co-Fe-Zr metallic glass system with a total of 1323 unique alloys having been investigated. The primary goal of the work was to identify unsupervised techniques to permit on-line data analysis and design of experiments. The ultimate metric of interest was whether or not a particular alloy formed a metallic glass. A manuscript to appear in MRS Communications in 2017 contains the details of the experimental procedure.
